Giorgia Mae was born in Melbourne, Australia but raised in the sunshine state of Queensland on the Gold Coast from the age of 3. Giorgia began her apprenticeship back in 2012 at a well-known studio in her home town. It wouldn’t be until half way though 2014 when Giorgia would start tattooing as an apprentice at Immortal Ink Tattoo Studio under the guidance of her peers.

Quickly into her tattooing career Giorgia was cast as the apprentice on the new Netflix series Bondi Ink Tattoo Crew and was relocated to Sydney Australia to take part in filming the world-famous television series. Giorgia starred along side the famous Megan Massacre in season one of the Inked show gaining exposure to a worldwide audience giving Giorgia the freedom to chase her career all over the globe.


Giorgia declined her season 2 contract offer and instead focussed on her tattooing and artwork before taking off to tattoo, live in and travel all over North America. Giorgia Mae has been featured in many publications throughout Australia such as Time Out, Kaleido Press, Buzz Feed, GQ Australia, Men in this town, The Daily


Giorgia now calls New York City home, working at Grit N Glory in Manhattan.
